How it works

  • Request a quote
Include as much information in your quote as you can, including word count, subject of the paper, and a sample of the work, if possible.

  • Get permissions
Check with your professor to make sure they are okay with you having your paper edited. You can download the permission form found here for you and your instructor to sign before I edit your work.

  • Send additional documentation
I always refer to any guidelines or rubrics given by the instructor so I know what to look for when editing.

  • Receive final estimate
Once you have sent all documentation, including permissions and the editing contract, I will give you an idea of how long it will take me to complete the edit.

  • Review edited paper
I will send you the edited document with any changes or suggestions tracked so you can review and let me know if you have any questions.

  • Payment
You will receive a final invoice when I send you the final edit of your paper. Payment is due within 30 days of when you receive the invoice.

Note: all prices are in Canadian dollars. Definitions of the types of editing are adapted from Editors Canada. For more information about the $20 minimum base rate, visit the FAQ page.
